“We had been looking for a little while,” comments Peter, formerly from Eastleigh “but when we discovered Grove Place we said, this is it, the best we have seen. So we put the house on the market, and have never looked back.”
Peter and Doreen are already firmly ensconced in Grove Place life, Peter having taken on the job of Village Librarian, where as well as cataloguing and shelving hundreds of books, he is also busy planning film nights, which will take place on the wide screen in the Manor House Bar. Meanwhile Doreen has joined the craft class, which takes place weekly in one of the Manor House light filled meeting rooms, and, with the group’s impressive mix of talents, is already planning for the Village to open its doors to the public for a series of one day Craft Fairs.
“I am also hoping to rekindle my regular swimming habit”, says Doreen, “the pool looks so inviting, and Peter won’t be far away, doing his daily work out in the gym.”
